Blasting Back to the past.....GOSH!

Isn't it the wierdest thing, that when you've forgotten something, than years down the road when rummaging thru something...you go "OH GOSH", I remember these, but WOW I look soooo different..Those are always my thoughts, with photos. Tonite Kris had dug out the ol handy camcorder one mind you with "TAPE" lol not the DVR memory, and he realized oh this is the one we took on our honeymoon to Jamaica, in o5'

My word, that seems so far away...it's not in "YEARS" persay, but when you think back...of all the things, you've done...it's SO FAR mind blowing...I find it neat to come across ol' photos, specially when I can say.."wow, I was damm good lookin" LOL...cuz you know some photos, you look back and laugh..., or think what the hell was I wearing..due to decade fashion trends....Although, if any of you have those BIG ol' Sunglasses, they a comin back! So a breif jot down honeymoon lane..I thought I'd share with you....

OK so I wanted to post this because I am sure many of you can relate....taking a "family photo with small kids" For our christmas card, which is posted previously...hence which we did finally successfully get a good one...DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY SNAPS OF THE CAMERA IT TOOK, I am not even sure, I was viewing my digital photos..and I was cracking up, it looked like a comic strip, of only an arm move, facial expression changed, or something else...but we stood in the same place trying to take one good shot, but took like 6 and didn't make one good one LOL! well they are good, but just funny.....

A January Swap Done!!

Ok it's friday nite, and I am working on my swaps! Here is two I completed last nite for a swap on SCS "What's your favorite embellishment" hosted by Ms. Heather. I chose stickles...cuz stickles are soooooooooo fun and add sparkle to everything, and my other card was using primas! I went classic style, did some sponging, and of course used my new digital download papers from MFT Stamps....These downloads you can print from your own PRINTER! And sooo far XXX my fingers, it hasn't used too much ink yet! So here ya go:

And for all the cupcake lovers....and myself, I could use and have cupcakes everyday, "CUPCAKES AND STICKLES" YEAYYY....

San Antonio Shoebox Swap SNEEK PEEK

Hey SCS'ers.......Wanna SNEEK PEEK.......Hmmmmmm should I or should I not...eh why not...I have been a busy bee this past week while on vacation getting ready for the big day....I am soooo excited....it's almost here......YIPPEE. But wanted to show you....a few things what I made for everyone.....and for the tables...and of course MY CARD!

First off THE NAME BADGES, we will be soo professional, even has the CLIP, LOL. Take a looksie you might see your name, I did not photograph them all but I just grabbed a handful and layed em out for a photo MOMENT.....so whatcha think.... DH helped me make em New Year's eve, what a sweet guy! Awhhhhhh ...I know. We watched the ball drop as I glued and he clipped...LOL...it was fun times.....

Next I really made a paper CAKE. These are sooooo fun! They are timely must have PATIENCE PATIENCE, but they are soooo cute...when they are done! So for the table centerpieces they each will have a slice of CAKE with the table letter. I even stamped "you are seated at table no." under each letter LOL. I haven't figured how I will display wanting to see if I can make a mini cake stand so that the "slice" is elevated for viewing....so that's in the works...So anyone up for a chocolate slice.......

And here it be....the BIGGIE SNEEK PEEK, here is my card all done and waiting till SSDay.... I used the sock monkey stamp from SU! he is soooo cute....And he is having a little valentine FUN to his sweetheart......And all my kit's are ready to go...yayy. I am new year's resoluting..."STAYING AHEAD" of the game.....I don't want to be rushing.....

Just a few christmas projects I have to show....

Hey all hope the new year is treating you well, I wanted to post some pics of some christmas projects I have worked on thru the holidays. They were for gifts for the family.....and the best gift is the gift that keeps on giving....so I wanted to show you....

This one I had made for my parents from Ryley to "Gamma and Poppy". It's a butler's serving tray that let's you slip in four 4x6 photos to cherish from time to time. What a great gift....huh...I used my handy dandy cricut and cut out the letters. And stamped some snowman to add a little christmas cheer!!!

I love making frames, and personalizing them....Great Grandma is becoming a collector of my frames...I make one for her for birthday's, and holiday's. I put Ryley's current pic in it...she just loves them! Oh and that was the pic we used to send christmas cards to all the family back in Good ol' Cali....

And....Yup another butler's tray creation....This one was for Gramee...DH mom....I used Cupcake Flopsey from MFT....for her fun image. These trays were soooo fun to create with....

Well off to my next post......to be returning....in a moment...

Countdown to the New year...

Just dropping in this wee wee morning as the clock strikes 230AM, I suppose I should wrap up the stamps and call it a nite, but I had a goal tonite to get started on teh Big SWAP Day goodies for next Month...i got the name tags done....and I kinda wanted to update my poor neglected blog...and drop a quick hello before the last day of 2008was all over! Hope everyone has had a prosperous, and joyful 2008, I know I have, and I say 2009 only will bring more....I hope! Wishing you all good health, and happiness into the new year~
